GoTo Webinar Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble joining or re-joining the Webinar please try the following. (Try # 1 first, if that doesn't work, try #2, if not, try #3.)
1. End all previous GoTo Meeting processes:
(For Windows )
- Open the Task Manager by pressing Control+Alt+Delete
- End all processes that start with "g2m"
- Try rejoining the session
(For Mac)
If #1 doesn't solve the problem...
2. Uninstall GoTo Meeting
(Windows)
1. Open the “Control Panel”
a. Open the “Start” menu and click “Control Panel”
2. Open “Add or Remove Programs” (In Vista this is called “Programs and Features”)
3. Click the entry for “GoToMeeting”
4. Click the “Remove” button that appears in the GoToMeeting entry
5. Click “Yes” in the prompt box that appears
6. When the prompt box that says GoTo Meeting was successfully uninstalled appears click “Close”
7. You’re done. Try to join the Webinar again. (The latest GoTo Meeting software will automatically be installed)
(Mac)
1. Open the “Applications” folder
2. Delete any GoToMeeting applications
3. Try to join the Webinar again. (The latest GoTo Meeting software will automatically be installed)
If #2 doesn't solve the problem...
3. Restart the computer
1. Restart the computer
2. Try to join the Webinar again
