Charles Creese
Charles Creese completed his MSc at McGill in 1999 (research focus on radar
refractivity) and has been with the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) ever since. After a first posting in
Ontario Region (Regional Centre Thunder Bay) focusing on marine, public, and
fire weather, he went on to work at WSC Trenton (Aviation and Defence Services
Branch), where he has been a shift supervisor since 2005. His meteorology
interests include remote sensing, severe weather and isentropic analysis.
Outside work, he enjoys playing with his three children, playing the cello
(Northumberland Orchestra), skiing, and traveling to work by electric bicycle.
