Mark Schuster

My name is Mark Schuster, and I have been a forecaster with the MSC for nearly 3 years now.  I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at York University.  I finished my master's degree in 2006 specializing in synoptic scale patterns associated with Ontario tornadoes.  From a very young age, I have been interested in weather and knew that I wanted to be a meteorologist when I grew up.  During my time here at the Ontario Storm Prediction Centre (OSPC), I have been working on both marine and public forecasting, but I do hope to begin training on the severe weather desk soon.  My main interests in meteorology are synoptic scale winter storms, as well as climatology.

Other than meteorology, some of my interests and hobbies include working out, camping, jogging, hanging out with friends, astronomy and anything outdoorsy.
