Michel Bisson

Michel Bisson graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 1984. In 1988, he was hired as a Meteorological Technician with Environment Canada where he was stationed in Cree Lake, SK. In 1990, after completing the "Meteorology Short Course" at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and the Meteorological Operational Course (COM8) at the Centre Météorologique de Québec (CMQ) in Montreal, he was posted at the Prairie Weather Centre in Winnipeg, MB, Central Region. He is currently an Operational Meteorologist with the Prairie and Arctic Storm Prediction Centre (PASPC) in Winnipeg. 

He has worked on a number of development projects, including developing scripts to automate the generation of AVIPADS bulletins, the Bullprep Warning Discussion Assistant and HTML coding. He has also authored a few internal papers on summer severe weather.
