Using the Tucson, AZ Skew-T from 2009 02 09:

  1. Forecast the high temperature for the day.

  2. Find the mixing ratio associated with the high (this is the maximum amount of moisture the air can hold)

  3. Find the dew point temperature at the time of the forecast high.

  4. Find the mixing ratio associated with the dewpoint (this is the actual amount of moisture in the air).

  5. From this find the RH.

  6. What would happen if it were later in the year or we had stronger winds?
