Tell us about yourself!
Being a participant in a virtual course, you may never meet any of your fellow students face to face over coffee between presentations. But we can still let other folks in the course learn a bit about yourself by using the course management site's Profile tool.
To update your profile, do the following (you might want to print this page before you start):
1. Return to the main page of the course by selecting the "CVCVC10" link in the upper left of this page
2. Select the "Edit profile" link in the Administration sidebar on the left side of the course page
3. Update the following fields:
New picture - Upload a recent picture of yourself (it will only show up as a small thumbnail so no worries about bad hair days)
Web page - post a link to a personal or work website if you have one
Phone - Post a phone number that the facilitators can use if there are technical problems during the course
Address - Current mailing address
4. When your information is complete, select "Update profile"
5. Select "continue" or wait a few moments for the page to refresh
6. Review your Profile information
You can read other participants' profiles by selecting "Participants" from the "People" sidebar on the right side of the main page of the course.
