Planning is well underway to host the first ever Fire Weather Forecaster Course in Kelowna and remotely with distance learning. The course will consist of lectures, labs and discussions. The content of this course will primarily deal with summer weather (weather leading up to and dissipation of fires) but winter weather will be touched upon as well.
Getting Started:
Before arriving, please take the time to explore this site. We will be using this site for much of our course correspondence especially the distance portion of the course. For now, you only see the Welcome and Pre-Course topics but as time goes by the information on the site will increase. The site will serve three main purposes. First it will be a point in which to initiate discussion. Many of the presentations will be included here. Finally and most importantly, this will be the way we receive feedback from the participants.
