Welcome to the 2016 Satellite Proving Ground/User-Readiness Meeting
May 9–13, 2016
On behalf of GOES-R and JPSS, you are invited to participate in the NOAA Satellite Proving Ground/User Readiness Meeting to be held May 9–13, 2016 at the National Weather Center in Norman, OK. In-person attendance is preferred, however, if you can't make it you may attend remotely (see information below).

Registration/ registration fee: Please note that there is a required registration fee of $132 for this meeting to cover meeting facility costs at the National Weather Center. This fee also covers the cost of daily shuttle service between the NCED Hotel and the National Weather Center (NWC). Please register prior to the start of the meeting.

Click for detailed registration instructions.Identification: It is recommended that NOAA/NASA attendees bring their CAC. Others should bring a valid driver’s license or passport to obtain a visitors badge.
Lunches: Lunch will be served Tues–Thurs at the meeting at a cost of $13. Vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary options may be specified in the reservation form. There is also a cafe onsite at the NWC although service can be delayed during lunch hour. Other nearby lunch options are limited. Please note lunch orders are due no later than Wednesday, May 4th, 1PM CDT.

Hotel information: See updated hotel information for the NCED Conference Center and Hotel.
Airport shuttle: To reserve the hotel's airport shuttle, provide your flight information when making your reservation, or call the hotel at least a week before.
Shuttle between NCED and National Weather Center (NWC): There will be a daily shuttle service in the morning and evenings between the NCED and NWC. This cost is covered in the registration fee. Shuttle hours: Mon 10:30am-12:30pm & 5:30pm-6:30pm, Tue-Thu 7am-8:30am & 5:00pm-6:00pm (NOTE: Shuttle service Friday is TBD. Participants can arrange to carpool w/ rental cars.)

This form will need to be completed by all foreign national guests and returned to Patrick T. Hyland, pat.hyland@ou.edu, at least two weeks prior to the tour to obtain clearance to visit the federal offices in the NWC. US citizens and permanent residents do not need to complete this form.
