Hello folks! Based on Heleen's groggy, late-night updates, it sure sounds like you all are having a great experience in Seoul. How I wish I could be there to share it with you. Sometimes life throws us a curve ball (that is an American metaphor related to baseball :-) and we need to quickly change our plans (or "shift our swing", to continue with the metaphor). So it goes. I sure hope to have the chance in the near future to catch up with all of you in person.

I haven't had the chance to look through all the uploaded presentations yet but I did review Monday's collection. Wow! It sure looks like that was an engaging day. I'm sure you all retained a lot from that one and that you'll revisit it soon to boost your understanding :-)

I wanted to point you all to the CALMet Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/calmet/) that you could use to upload photos from the week. It's a 'closed' group so those of you that are already members will need to accept newcomers as they apply to join.

I wish you the best as you finish out the week in Seoul. Enjoy your time (and the food - kimchi goodness!!!).

Bruce

Hi Bruce,

I am just reading some old unread emails (and this I managed to skip somehow), and it prompted me to give you a very short feedback. Last week we had standard Eumetrain meeting in Budapest and there we (Maja, Wilfried and me) reported the group on the workshop in Seoul. You can imagine that the report was very positive and people were very much interested in details. I guess even before our report the word was spread out since Alessandro (new PM of Eumetcal!) also gave the comment that the next Eumetcal WS shall be tailored more like this last Calmet WS, with more practical sessions which we all enjoyed very much.

Unfortunately this time you could not join us, and I am hope in a weird sense you are happy that you missed a lot J, but I am sure for the next you will be back on the track. Hope that 'shit of the swing' turned well for you and that already for the Calmet online you will manage to contribute.

Just that.

Take care,

Ivan
